Welcome to LegalConnect. By accessing or using our website and mobile application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Our platform is a facilitator that connects clients with licensed professionals, including lawyers, real estate advisors, and other experts. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice ourselves. Each professional on the platform is independently responsible for the advice they provide.
Clients agree that consultations booked through the platform are advisory in nature and do not establish a full client-lawyer relationship unless separately contracted outside the platform. The advice is limited to the session booked and paid for.
User Accounts and Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
Legal Services and Consultations
- LegalConnect is a platform connecting clients with independent lawyers
- We do not provide legal advice directly
- All legal advice comes from licensed, independent lawyers
- Lawyers are responsible for their own professional conduct
- Consultations are subject to lawyer-client privilege
- We do not guarantee specific legal outcomes
Payment Terms
- Payment is required before consultations begin
- All fees are clearly displayed before booking
- Refunds are subject to our refund policy
- Platform fees are non-refundable
- Lawyers set their own consultation rates
- Payment disputes must be reported within 30 days
Privacy and Confidentiality
- We protect your personal information as outlined in our Privacy Policy
- Lawyer-client communications are confidential
- We use encryption to secure all communications
- You consent to necessary data processing for service delivery
- We may record consultations for quality assurance (with consent)
- Your data will not be shared without your consent, except as required by law
Prohibited Uses
- Do not use the platform for illegal activities
- No harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior
- Do not share false or misleading information
- Respect intellectual property rights
- No spam, solicitation, or unauthorized marketing
- Do not attempt to circumvent platform security measures
Intellectual Property
- LegalConnect owns all platform content and technology
- You retain rights to your personal content and communications
- Do not copy, modify, or distribute our platform content
- Respect trademarks and copyrighted materials
- Report any intellectual property violations
- We may remove content that violates intellectual property rights
Professional Responsibilities
Professionals agree to provide services in compliance with their regulatory and ethical obligations, including the Pakistan Bar Council rules. Professionals are responsible for the accuracy and quality of advice delivered. The platform does not guarantee outcomes in any case or matter.
All fees must be paid through our platform. Payments are held in escrow and released to professionals after the session. Refunds are available under our refund policy in cases such as no-shows or technical failures.
By using our services, you agree not to misuse the platform, engage in unlawful activity, or attempt to bypass payments. Any breach may result in suspension or removal from the platform.
Limitation of Liability
LegalConnect acts as an intermediary platform connecting clients with independent lawyers. We are not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of legal services provided by lawyers on our platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LegalConnect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to LegalConnect in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from your use of LegalConnect shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. The arbitration shall take place in Lahore, Pakistan.
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through our internal dispute resolution process by contacting our support team.
You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration against LegalConnect.
Account Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be immediately revoked.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.
Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of Pakistan, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue therein.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using our services.
